Public Partnerships LLC Sr Site Reliability Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia

Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and “self-direct” their own long-term home care. Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget.  We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and implement Solutions to the overall Cloud Strategy.

  • Plan, design, and coordinate & execute infrastructural projects including but not limited to: Data Center, Data Center to Cloud, Azure, AWS, Servers, Databases, Services, and provisioning.

  • Propose, learn, and leverage technology tools to expand our capability to deliver on our responsibilities.

  • Responsible for environment builds, environment data refreshes, de-identification.

  • Develop proactive processes for monitoring out key infrastructural components and managing risk.

  • Design, code, configure, tune and implement AWS, Azure and on-premise observability and monitoring solutions.

  • Troubleshoot performance and availability issues in production and investigate unexpected behavior in all environments.

  • Gather infrastructure requirements and interact with Corp Technology partners.

  • Assist in gathering key data for the Compliance group regarding Fraud & Audit investigations.

  • Align with the security standards and guidelines to ensure systems are secure and protected.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Deep working knowledge and expertise in operating systems, network concepts, protocols, and architecture. Microsoft/Linux operating systems, active directory, OSI.

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS - Migration experience from On-Premises a bonus.

  • Technical ability in .NET/C# and SQL Server development, and knowledge of both current and legacy architecture, software development practices, and conventions.

  • Knowledge of SRE/DevOps practices and tools.

  • Experience with implementing observability/monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.

  • Strong skills in one or more scripting languages (PowerShell, Python or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with Container/Orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with Azure and AWS Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively by engaging both application and infrastructure SMEs, as well as by assisting technical and non-technical colleagues.

  • Ability to work self-directed, plan and execute projects involving multiple technical resources and stakeholders.

  • Mastery of the techniques and tools used to troubleshoot performance and availability issues, job failures, and other erroneous and undesired system performance, including the proactive monitoring and alerting of systems, debugging tools, and diagnostic tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion..

  • Ability to work both independently and on a team.

  • Ability to handle a broad range of tasks with multiple priorities.

  • Robust attention to detail and tracking.

  • Highly motivated, able to learn quickly, and accountable for committed results.

  • Adept and passionate for learning next level technologies (Cloud, system monitoring).

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors or Masters level education in science or computer science preferred

Experience:

6+ years of relevant experience; experience with .NET/C# knowledge, Scripting - Powershell/Python,Bash, OS - Windows, Linux, RDMS - SQL server experience, NoSQL – MongoDB, GIT/Azure DevOps, IaaC – Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure ARM, Monitoring – Splunk, Azure Monitor, AWS Cloud Watch, App Insights, Cloud – AWS, Azure preferred.
