ManpowerGroup Material Handling Operator 1 in Alpharetta, Georgia
Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a Material Handling Operator 1 to join their team. As a Material Handling Operator 1, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting the receiving and shipping of goods. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have experience operating forklifts.
Job Title: Material Handling Operator 1
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay Range: $17.00
What's the Job?
Accept incoming goods and compare them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).
Check incoming goods for visible damage, document them, and provide the information if required.
Take care of the correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
Capture relevant data in data processing systems.
Arrange the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and record them in the appropriate systems.
What's Needed?
Industrial forklift experience
2-year vocational training + up to 1 year of experience needed
Basic knowledge and experience of principles, procedures, work routines, and skills in the related field of work, gained through structured and focused two-year vocational training period
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
