Human Resources Generalist – On-site - Alpharetta, GA
Salary to $65,0000 plus Bonus
Stars and Strikes operates 17 entertainment centers throughout the southeastern U.S that offer a wide range of activities. We provide a fun and family-friendly environment where patrons can enjoy bowling, arcade games, laser tag, restaurants, bars, and more.
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, here is what you’ll be doing:
HR Strategy and Execution
Assist in the performance management process, including performance evaluations, management training, and feedback sessions.
Help identify training and development opportunities to support performance enhancement.
Assist in the development and presentation of HR-related management training.
Location Support:
Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Conduct investigations into team member complaints, and concerns, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, including performance improvement plans and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures to team members and managers.
Visit locations to provide one on one and/or group training and to do location checks.
Assume continuity of HR operations and seamless delivery of HR services during the HR Director’s absence.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles which involve team member relations, performance management and investigations.
Previous experience supporting multiple locations preferred.
Ability for local and overnight travel to out of state locations (15%)
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Prior benefit administration experience a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with discretion.
Additional duties as assigned.
