Your role at Clorox:
The BU Manufacturing Network Logistics Coordinator is responsible to enable the successful integration of Plant shipping operations across the Clorox Network. This is to include future integration with Direct Customer shipments originating from our manufacturing locations. Additional responsibilities will include supporting Atlanta Campus Logistical operations and assisting with BU Material Management efforts. Identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities in assigned work areas will be a critical responsibility of the position.
In this role, you will:
Plant Shipping Network Coordination
Provide daily guidance to our production facilities on the plant shipment needs across the network. Monitor the daily performance and adherence of planned shipments and adjustment accordingly.
Coordinate with Planning, Distribution, Transportation and Manufacturing sites to develop successful long-term strategies for our Manufacturing shipping operations.
Create and communicate the daily deployment schedules for the 5 Cleaning Manufacturing facilities.
Be prepared to assist in issue escalations across the BU’s Internal manufacturing plants.
Ensure training is coordinated across all internal manufacturing locations; Audit the daily execution and adherence to the shipping schedules for all internal manufacturing locations. Build operational capacity at all locations.
Identify and address recurring constraints affecting Manufacturing deployment operations.
Be prepared to support External Manufacturing plant shipment operations in support of future Business Unit efforts.
Atlanta Campus Engagement
Serve as the BU’s Chief liaison with our Dedicated Fleet Transportation partners. Work to optimize the dedicated fleet footprint at our manufacturing locations.
Help facilitate daily, weekly and monthly reviews across the Dedicated Fleet operations. Assist in the creation of Dedicated Fleet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and future system creation that enables performance tracking against these KPI’s.
Ensure the Atlanta Campus trailer lots are being maintained in accordance with designated layout structure.
Serve as the chief liaison for the Atlanta campus and the BU’s 3rd party Warehouse element; Oversee day to day operations at the Warehouse facility and serve as the primary escalation point for warehousing issues.
Partner with the two Atlanta manufacturing sites and all local Tier 1 suppliers to identify Continuous Improvement opportunities across the greater Atlanta campus.
MSM Engagement
Support additional Materials & Scheduling Management (MSM) operations across the BU.
Serve as the BU’s Chief liaison for future shipping operations in support of the Company’s SAP upgrade.
Participate in designated BU MSM meetings and touchpoints.
Assist in the management of materials being utilized by trailers across the broader Atlanta campus. Work to integrate visibility of these trailers into the daily management systems of the organization.
Continuous Improvement
Monitor all critical performance metrics across and identify recurring areas of opportunity. Support the development of long term, sustainable plans to address these issues.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and training documentation for all new shipment processes created. Update all documentation as changes occur across the network.
Identify opportunities to improve overall asset utilization across the Atlanta operational footprint, to include enhancing lot utilization on the Atlanta campus.

Ability to understand deployment and shipping operations. Ability to partner with cross-functional elements to improve the effectiveness of these operations.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400
–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800
–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100
