We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auto Parts Department Shipping and Receiving Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the shipping and receiving operations within the department, ensuring that all parts are delivered, stocked, and processed with accuracy. This role requires strong customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Parts: Safely deliver auto parts to local customers within a 10-mile radius.
Stock Management: Organize and stock shelves with incoming parts, ensuring accuracy and proper placement.
Purchase Orders: Create and manage purchase orders for necessary parts and supplies.
Sales Order Processing: Accurately process sales orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Ordering Parts: Order parts as needed, maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Receiving Deliveries: Check-in deliveries and verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a shipping and receiving or auto parts environment is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
