Job Description
Industrial Electrician - Maintenance Technician | Alliance, OH | Afternoon OR Night Shift Hours (Overtime required)
Pay Rate $28-$31/hour - Pay dependent on experience
Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v-480v and 3 phase
Troubleshooting electrical in the plant- circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, machine controls, and more
Minor Mechanical work on conveyors, gears and bearings
Help repair facility equipment including: conveyors, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, mobile equipment, and more
Assists with Special installations and projects
Understands drawings and schematics
Hard Skills
Industrial Electrical Maintenance
Motors, Sensors, switches, photo eyes
Schematics and Blueprints
12v-480v electric and 3 phase
Circuits, breakers, panels, PLCs, VFDs
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Alliance, Ohio.
Work Environment
Union Environment - Heavy Industrial and dirty environment - Hot around the furnaces; fair temps throughout the rest of the plant - loud around the tube drop off areas - Laid back and not very physical
Takes 800 working hours to get brought in the union - pay dues after 30 days
- Can bid on positions once in the union and can eventually get a set shift
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Must be open to working ALL Shifts - Also will work 50-60 hours every week occassional saturdays
