Reference #: 3957 RK&K is currently seeking an experienced Risk Assessment Manager to provide professional risk expertise in the oversight of FTA-funded major capital transit projects. The Risk Assessment Manager I will review project sponsor's risk management plans and supporting documentation and is responsible for performing risk and contingency reviews for FTA-funded major capital transit projects by serving as a technical resource and subject matter expert in risk assessment and mitigation. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location. Essential Function Perform risk and contingency reviews for FTA-funded major capital transit projects by serving as a technical resource and subject matter expert in risk assessment and mitigation Review project sponsor's risk management plans and supporting documentation Required Skills and Experience Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program OR a Bachelor of Architecture from a NAAB Accredited Program OR licensure as a Professional Engineer in the United States Certification as a Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP or DRMP) is required Knowledge in performing probability modeling using factoring and Monte Carlo as well as other comparable simulations for risk analysis related to cost and schedule values Minimum of 7 years of overall experience working on risk assessments with 3 of the 7 years in passenger rail or related transportation modes 3 of the 7 years of experience planning, designing, and implementing an overall risk management process for an organization Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
