Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, CWS Operations to ensure the effective and efficient running of the administrative teams supporting CAI’s Contingent Workforce Solutions programs. This position will be full-time and remote.
What You’ll Do
Team Management:
Manage 2 teams, one of which is overseen directly by a team lead
Oversee the distribution and prioritization of tasks to ensure that team workloads are balanced, and deadlines are met
Ensure new hires are effectively trained
Monitor work volume and team effectiveness, ensure team is scaled and trained as volume grows.
System and Data management:
Manage the team’s handling of data within VMS system (Vector) to ensure it effective imports to the HRIS system (Workday)
Configuration and reporting within the ticketing system (Freshdesk)
Collaborate on configuration within the VMS system (Vector) and reporting from it (Business Intelligence)
Coordinate and manage significant data updates 2-4 times annually based on client needs. This involves significant coordination with multiple internal departments, ensuring processes are following, and preparing bulk data load spreadsheets.
Process Improvement:
Have a mindset of continuous improvement. Constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and streamline workflows without sacrificing business needs or necessary customer service levels.
Participate in implementations of new processes, automations, and systems.
Stakeholder Communication:
Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal and external teams. Ensure positive interdepartmental relationships and effective flow of information.
What You'll Need
Required:
2+ years of management experience
5+ years of experience in vendor management, contingent labor management, operations management, or related role
Familiarity with contingent labor/staff augmentation operations
Experience with one or more Vendor Management Systems used for Contingent Labor/Staff Aug vendor management
Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and implementing best practices in an operations setting.
Strong experience with MS Excel including familiarity with advanced functions such as VLookup and Pivot Tables.
Strong skills in process documentation, with a keen eye for detail and organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience working with state government agencies and understanding their unique operational needs
Experience with Business Intelligence reporting
Experience with system implementation and enhancements
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
