DESCRIPTION OF WORK Your duties will entail overseeing administrative and supervisory tasks, as well as supporting the management of Lehigh County Aging and Adult Services. You will ensure that programs adhere to the regulations set by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and Department of Human Services. Additional duties include supervising referral, intake, and assistance, as well as the home delivered meal program and home modification functions of the agency. Knowledge of assessments and care plans is essential as per Pennsylvania Department of Aging regulations. Additionally, responsibilities include overseeing contract management of the Ombudsman Program, assisting in policy development, evaluating programs, participating in long-term planning, managing budgets, serving as Area Agency on Aging  Administrator when needed, and providing support in various administrative tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three (3) years of professional experience in a human services program, either in an administrative capacity or in providing social services to clients, including one (1) year of supervisory experience and a Bachelor's Degree;or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lehigh County. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
