Actalent QC Microbiology Analyst in Allendale, New Jersey
Join our dynamic team and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in biopharmaceuticals.
As a Microbiologist, you will:
Participate in aseptic process qualifications, including aseptic gowning and media fill reads.
Conduct Bacterial Endotoxin and Sterility Testing.
Perform growth promotion testing of microbiological media.
Carry out routine Environmental Monitoring.
Test water for Total Organic Carbon (TOC), conductivity, and Bioburdens.
Utilize microbial isolation techniques and perform Gram stain identifications.
Send samples to contract labs and track results/reports.
Evaluate environmental/personnel monitoring samples and create NOEs for action levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in environmental monitoring and water testing.
Method qualification and validation experience is a plus.
Gown qualification for ISO7/Grade B areas.
