Description: Within our 300-person Allendale, Michigan manufacturing facility (20 minutes outside of Grand Rapids), Leprino Foods is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to propel our organization to new heights of operational excellence! Lead and manage assigned projects by ensuring timely completion within budget and achieving forecasted outcomes. Schedule project work, including design, equipment selection, construction, and installation, to minimize production impact and comply with regulatory specifications. Obtain quotes, conduct cost analyses, develop budgets, and create project schedules. Supervise contractors and coordinate with consulting services. Identify, develop, and lead improvements to utility, process, or energy systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee process and equipment modifications and upgrades to ensure production needs are met and design supports maintenance and repair. Develop and deliver technical training programs for plant production teams. Provide technical and engineering expertise to improve productivity and reduce costs. Inspect and approve all work to ensure quality, efficiency, compliance, and contractor productivity. You Have At Least (Required Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in equipment reliability and/or plant maintenance. We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications): Master's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. 1+ year of Dairy/Cheese manufacturing experience.
