Description Overview The Global Trade Compliance Supervisor will ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other relevant government agency regulations for all Perrigo U.S. entities. The role involves managing import and export compliance, FTZ operations, and leading a small team while supporting new product launches and mergers and acquisitions. Scope of the Role Import Compliance Ensure import shipments comply with U.S. Customs, FDA, and other relevant regulations. Maintain processes to meet U.S. Customs' five components of effective internal controls: Control environment Risk assessment Internal control activities Information & communication Monitoring Manage classification and import requirements: Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) FDA product code Drug listings Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) Hazardous/dangerous goods Facility registrations (DUNS/FEI) USDA veterinary permits DEA permits Schedule III products Pre-submissions batch requests Manage Free Trade Agreements and preferential duty programs. Prepare responses to Customs issues (CF28's and CF29's). Review and approve customs broker invoices. Support new product launches. Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Ensure all FTZ's operate in compliance with Customs & FDA regulations to achieve optimal savings. Maintain FTZ Operators Manual and provide necessary updates. Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. Customs & FDA audits. Collaborate with Procurement to review imported products and FTZ materials. Evaluate FTZ savings opportunities and manage expansions as needed. Export Compliance Ensure export shipments comply with U.S. export regulations. Manage Schedule B numbers for exported Perrigo SKUs. Manage Free Trade Agreements program for all U.S. entities. Leadership Supervise 1-3 direct reports. Miscellaneous Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Participate in Stage Gate project meetings and support new product launches. Stay informed and participate in changes to Customs regulations and other government agency initiatives impacting trade compliance and FTZ's. Experience Required Bachelor's degree required. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
