Job Description:
We are looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst. To join our team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for recording, monitoring, and resolving all agency tax notices and tracers with 3rd party provider and government agencies, validating of all agency responses.
• Manage tax errors by implementing corrective measures and penalties.
• Researches and provides analysis details on variances between the payroll systems and the payroll tax outsourcer.
• W2 corrections and reissues.
• Is attentive to detail and accuracy and committed to excellence and quality.
• Assisting the Payroll Manager with the research, development, and implementation of payroll tax strategies.
• Collectively collaborates with a team of payroll SMEs to proactively monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely tax filing & reporting to government authorities.
• Other duties as assigned
