is an industry leader in engineering, manufacturing, and installation of cutting-edge, multiplace hyperbaric and hypobaric systems and related equipment with over 50 years of experience. PCCI Hyperbaric Systems is
solely dedicated to the design, engineering, fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of hyperbaric chambers, hypobaric chambers, breathing simulators, medical airlocks for Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM), medical air locks, manlocks and related systems for commercial and Government clients.
This role involves overseeing the manufacturing process of hyperbaric chamber systems, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every production stage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, safety standards, and technical manufacturing processes associated with hyperbaric environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- *Production Planning and Process Management: *
- Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows and processes for hyperbaric chamber production.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement efficient production methodologies.
- Oversee assembly processes, ensuring all procedures meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality inspections on materials and finished products, adhering to strict safety guidelines.
- Identify and resolve production issues, implementing quality assurance practices to maintain product integrity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g., NFPA 99, ASME/PVHO).
- Maintenance and Safety Compliance:
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and equipment inspections for all production machinery.
- Ensure compliance with hyperbaric safety regulations and industry standards, including pressure testing and system integrity checks.
- Train production staff on safety protocols and the use of specialized equipment.
- Technical Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for all production processes, including engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control records.
- Prepare reports on production status, efficiency, and areas for improvement.
- Support RandD initiatives, contributing engineering insights to enhance product design and manufacturing efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Recommend and implement process changes to improve production flow, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and meet evolving industry standards.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in pressure vessel, aviation, aerospace, compressed gases or hyperbaric chamber production.
