Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide cybersecurity for all DoD OIG networks to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organization's systems and data.

  • Provide consultation and assistance with the development plan, deployment, migration to, continuous operations, and maintenance of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for OIG networks; in coordination with other Microsoft services: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel with a focus on cybersecurity.

  • Update, monitor and maintain Trellix’s Endpoint Security System (ESS) / Host-Based Security System (HBSS), ensuring virus definitions, patch versions, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO) compliance and any other applicable directives on network servers and workstations.

  • Familiarity and understanding of Continuous Risk Monitoring Scoring (CMRS).

  • Monitor and conduct incident response to alerts generated by the anti-malware solutions.

  • Deploy integrated Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities.

  • Provide daily operational support for the organization's existing ICAM infrastructure to ensure performance, health and security requirements are met.

  • Support organization with daily threat monitoring and analysis, incident response, and other activities focused on monitoring, assessing, detecting, investigating, hunting, and responding to cybersecurity threats.

  • Produce system reports and assist POA&M preparation in support of Authorization & Accreditation activities.

  • Provide Data Transfer Agent (DTA) support.

  • Perform immediate measures to react to an identified Security Incident and take actions to isolate and minimize the negative impact to organization in accordance with OIG’s security procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Meet qualification requirements in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 and DoDM 8140.03 DoD Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program.

  • Industry standard cybersecurity certification, such as: Sec+, CISSP, CySA, GSEC, CEH, CISM, or others.

  • Subject Matter Expertise with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

  • Understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel.

  • Understanding of Cloud and/or Hybrid cloud configurations.

  • Experience with DoD Endpoint Security and Anti-Virus Solutions.

  • Knowledge of Azure Government, FedRAMP, and DoD cloud security and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
