Purpose of Role
The Senior Professional, Visual Merchandising will report into the Snr Marketing Manager to support the Retail Operations team and partner with the Retail Merchandise Planner(s) to develop a National Visual Merchandising Strategy. This individual will be the driving force behind developing compelling stories and optimal product presentations to drive the merchandising vision in our owned and operated retail stores across Australia.
Your Impact
Support the retail team in the development of a visual assortment strategy that is aligned to GTM/Oceania strategy, utilizing knowledge on prior seasons’ assortment performance at retail and market/brand insights.
Adapt global guidelines to develop monthly & seasonal VM guidelines, and merchandising floor set plans for all Australian owned and operated retail. Communicate these guidelines to the retail store teams and ensure thorough execution.
Create/Maintain tools & reports required to achieve the above successfully.
Conduct weekly reviews of KPI’s and photo reporting per spaces and ensure retail store teams are set to follow up on actions.
Lead execution of all new store set up, refits & seasonal changeovers regarding fixture orders, coordinating graphic installs and training for Retail team.
Coordinate retail marketing support for store openings & collaborate with brand marketing on activations.
Lead the development, production, distribution and installation of all in store marketing collateral with agency and supplier contacts.
Support Planning team on option count definition based on store space knowledge and Global VM guidelines.
Support sales optimization through product presentation, grounded in knowledge of sales & inventory.

Build and manage prop data base inclusive of mannequins and manage order process.
Responsible for ‘Winning at the shelf’ through driving conversion and sales across all retail including Brand & Factory House doors.
Support wholesale partners with VM strategy, providing proposed floorset, sell-in support and a visual assortment strategy that is aligned to GTM/Oceania strategy.
Present a fresh and creative perspective through visual merchandising understanding in floor set strategies that deliver strong brand messages.
Partner with Store Managers to raise and maintain the level of excellence in VM execution at the store level.
Organize and execute staff training sessions for UA retail employees on VM expectations, strategies & execution.Facilitate in person training.Evaluatestore execution to define future training needs.
Assist with Retail marketing budget & calendar control (Pre & In season).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in art or fashion or relevant field is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of visual merchandising experience with a retail company (global brands preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft office, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign basic preferred.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Capability to maintain a consistently high level of service.
Flexibility to shift focus and priorities.
Good commercial acumen, quantitative capabilities; ability to assess data, identify next steps
Demonstrated ability to delivery results in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment, including the following skills: proactive; self-starter; team player

Workplace Location
Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Sydney office.
Return to Work Designation: 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
