Emerson Project Engineer (8 months) in ALCOBENDAS, Spain

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Strategic Sales Team. In this position you will be part of the strategic team working in project sales, coordinating the resources that Emerson has in Europe and India to provide the customer with the most appropriate quote, and acting as the main point of contact for any technical matter with customers and project execution team.
This is a temporary position (8 months length) located in Alcobendas, Madrid.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Proactively collaborate with the sales team and cross functional groups in the RFQ process to drive quick response time, reviewing them and developing the most technically suitable and competitive offer.
Increase hit rate of quotations into orders.
Maintain organizational log, report in CRM and transmit orders to factories, cooperating with the execution team during the project execution.
Review technical documentation and align with other stakeholders.
Follow up all projects during the pre-sales process and after-sales process, until the execution of the project, being the lead of the assigned projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Engineering or technical background.
Sales & technical experience in the industrial market.
Good command of English language
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Outstanding project management skills strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills Category experience with electronics is preferred.
Be a team player willing to work with other salespeople in the region and globally.
