Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Entry Level Tax Preparer in Alcoa, Tennessee
We are lookingforTax Preparersfor 30 locations in East Tennessee, including at our Jackson Hewitt kiosks set up inside of Walmart stores. Experience is not required. Training is provided.We have full and part-time positions with flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
The ideal candidate is a resourcefulself-starterwho works well independently, and part of a team. Someone who can adapt quickly to changing priorities and loves connecting to clients in a high-energy environment. As aSeasonal Tax Preparerin Walmart, you will:
- Work within one of our Walmart kiosk locations
- Assist clients via one-on-one tax interviews and answer questions from walk-ins
- Proactively engage with Walmart customers and employees
- Complete tax preparation training, and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Utilize basic computer skills
- Be supported by exceptional leadership and knowledgeable tax preparers, ensuring you're never alone

The pay rate is $13/hour plus performance bonuses. These are seasonal positions that go through end of the tax season in mid-April. There is also opportunity for advancement to Team Leader positions, etc., some of which work in the off season.
