Principal Service Solutions is hiring Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technicians.
This is a long-term, full-time position with full benefits! Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays.
Shift schedules are as follows:
Day Shift (5) Works every Sun, Mon, Tue, e/o Wed.
Start Time: 05:45 AM to 6:15 PM
Note: Must be at the station in fab by the start time of 05:45 AM for the start of shift pass down.
Day Shift (7) Works every Thurs, Fri, Sat e/o Wed
Start Time: 05:45 AM to 6:15 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:
· As a Lead Technician you will be trained and certified by the customer. Be responsible to transfer this knowledge and train 5 or more HVAC technicians to perform facilities maintenance & repairs. This includes RAH (Recirculation Air Handlers), mechanical pumps, chillers, general exhaust systems, and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) exhaust systems.
· Must lead by example with regards to safety, quality of work, ensuring attendance of your team, training your team up to customer certification, communicating with Internal / external stakeholders, be the liaison to the onsite customer for direction, writing reports, and escalate issues or concerns to your direct management.
· Maintain and repair a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
· Plans and executes preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and inspections. Assignments are semi-routine in nature. Must have a safety and quality mindset and some degree of judgment required in resolving standard and nonstandard problems.
· Receives general instructions from customer, review of daily job orders, responsible to delegate / assign work to team with high confidence, and verification of work being completed.
Duties:
· Operates, maintains, and performs minor upgrade projects on mechanical systems. Includes doing the monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual PMs, as well as fixing any operational and maintenance issues that occur on the mechanical system.
Required Skills:
· Knowledge of mechanical systems such as exhaust, chillers, boilers, air handlers, compressors, etc operation. Experience performing general industrial mechanical work including instrument calibrations.
· Must have MS Office suite experience and knowledge
· Written and verbal communication skills
· Organization and time management skills
· Adhere to stringent environmental compliance culture
· Willingness to work a compressed work week schedule
· Must be able to wear PPE and air supplied respirator
Minimum Qualifications:
Work in clean room environments, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.
· Lift up to 30 lbs, pull 250lbs at least once a day and spend most of the time (greater than 90 less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.
· Perform job roles and responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment PPE.
· Work from heights and climb ladders.
· Operate a PIT forklift, pallet jack and spend a considerable part of your day working in a mobile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 1 to 3 years of experience in:
· Facilities preventative and corrective maintenance.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr + 10% Lead Pay
