Amentum Scrum Master in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Amentum is currently seeking a Scrum Master to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.
This position requires onsite work, therefore candidate must reside in the Albuquerque area. Hybrid work available - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote after the initial training period.
As a member of the team, you will:
Facilitate agile teams, apply best practices of the agile methodology, and assign and delegate tasks appropriately to align priorities with the overall schedule and team member capabilities.
Responsible for understanding the parameters of each sprint and will foster timely and accurate communication throughout the life of the project.
Works closely with the product owner to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers.
Assist with problem resolution and work to maximize productivity and delivery to the customer.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 5 years of experience OR a High School degree/GED and 8 years of experienceOR equivalent.
Related experience can be substituted for relevant education and vice versa.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.
Certified Scrum Master
Strong communication and teaming skills/experience
Experience with software development projects and lifecycle
Desired Skills :
Experience managing large complex software engineering teams.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
