Clean Harbors Forklift Operator/Material Handler/Warehouse person in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Summary
Day Shift - $20.00 an hour
Position while training will be at 8am-6pm, 50–55-hour work weeks, sometimes less .
After the individual is trained, he will eventually move to a later start time, 10am-8pm .
He may be required to travel once fully trained and assistance is needed, which will be seldom.
Responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Company facilities
Direct generators using forklift.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Offloads, palletizes, reloads material using forklift
Coordinates loads between hubs, plants, and outbound destinations.
Ensures transportation efficiency and maintain compliance with our storage permits.
Dispatches transportation from hubs.
Assists on tracking of manifest return timelines.
Maintains Hub Database (Outlook and Hub Management).

Proficiency in Windows based applications
Strong organizational skills
Ability to perform multi tasks Strong communication skills
Other Physical Demands instructions
Climb on and off forklifts
Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waist
Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
Good hand/eye coordination
Move a drum weighing up to 800 lbs with a drum dolly
Moving a flex bin weighing up to 1500 lbs with a palette jack
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
6+ months of equipment operating experience preferred;
Experience with excavator and or haul trucks preferred;
Ability to work in team environment.
