Job Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Data Architect Intern to join our team for the summer. The intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of data operations, including but not limited to integrating multiple systems, data governance, data structures, data models, data definitions, data lakes, and accompanying toolsets.

Education / Training:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

Key Job Elements:
• Assist in design and architecture review, gap analysis and assessment of integration implementations
• Assist in toolset review, documenting strengths and weaknesses
• Assist with data loading, ETL/ELT, and data modeling
• Participate in creating business requirements, system functionality and business processes documentation
• Collaborate with Application Developers, IT Leads, IT Dev Ops, IT Architects, IT Support Analysts and cross-functional teams
• Assist in data governance policy and procedure creation and implementation
Qualifications and Experience:
• Basic understanding of IT/OT infrastructure
• Basic understanding of data staging, reporting concepts and principles
• Familiarity with database protocols, cloud architecture and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant current studies or experience in data science is a plus
