Job Title: Process Controls Engineer
Job Description
Process Control Manager oversees process control and improvement efforts across multiple sites. You will identify key problems and find solutions before they escalate. You will be responsible for the health of various processes and will create processes that result in the best possible outcome for the company. This position will have 3 direct reports, and while long-term management experience is not necessary, hands-on involvement is crucial. You will engage in design, controls engineering, and data analytics to proactively address equipment issues. You need to work independently, analyze data, anticipate potential problems, and take preemptive actions to protect the business. Daily tasks could range from helping the controls team identify better ways to run systems, setting up new processes, to working with SCADA and Ignition systems.
Hard Skills
Provide direction and support to the front-end process control team
Oversee automation and robotic processes (SCADA and Ignition)
Support process automation projects across the division
Collaborate with corporate and local engineering teams to drive innovation
Contribute to company-wide process improvement initiatives
Coordinate and support Six Sigma training programs
Supervise engineering improvements and problem-solving efforts related to production or new product introduction (NPI) challenges
