Weston & Sampson Site/Civil Senior Project Manager in Albany, New York
Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with at least 12 years of experience in our Albany, New York office location. This individual will lead project teams on civil engineering projects.
What you’ll do:
Supervise and lead project teams on multi-disciplinary project types.
Lead project teams providing management and engineering support to other disciplines.
Support projects through budgeting and permitting processes, including working with estimators to prepare construction and project costs, leading the project through permitting agencies and committees, and assisting the client in acquiring funding through public hearings and meetings.
Mentor and guide the development of junior staff and participate in the growth of our practice.
Participate in professional organizations and technical committees.
Collaborate and build strong working relationships.
Pursue new work opportunities and assist with business development.
What you will bring:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree.
Possess and maintain a New York State Professional Engineering License, in good standing.
12+ years of relevant engineering or management experience. Relevant experience may include:
Site permitting and design
Water, Sewer, and Stormwater design and permitting
Possess in-depth knowledge of Federal and State regulations, including discharge permitting for facilities, and typical funding sources related to the industry
Managing client and multi-disciplinary teams
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring.
Salary is $120,000 - $150,000.
