Minimum Qualifications Five years of experience in programming languages including JavaScript, .NET., and object oriented programming. Experience with Verizon/NiceIncontact, Salesforce, Oracle Service Cloud, REST Webservices, and public facing communication applications is preferred.The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated: • Associate’s degree and four years of experience• Associate’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience• Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience• Bachelor’s degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and two years of experience
Duties Description Under the direction of a ITS4, G25, the Project Assistant, SG-NS, will provide omnichannel technology offerings to many state agencies on the various NY state contact center systems. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:• Learn and implement new technologies including new Cloud solutions to support vendor-built solutions.• Determine customers technology architecture and environment needs.• Program and develop in multiple environments as well as handle new technologies in the contact center platform. • Build advanced IVR’s in multiple solutions, many with connections to new Google Bot technologies and integration with other products such as CRM’s.• Troubleshoot bugs found in development and work with vendor to find a fix.• Assist with troubleshooting when emergency issues arise, including after hours or weekend emergency issues.• Organize and participate in meetings with internal team staff, vendors, agency customer staff, and vendors.• Perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
