Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Lead Systems Analyst to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in computer sciences or computer engineering, coupled with exceptional programming skills across various platforms and languages. They should possess expertise in Linux, compiling processes, and navigating High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments. Additionally, experience in developing digital dashboards and services is highly desirable, along with a preference for familiarity with cloud computing services. The successful candidate will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Utilize programming skills across various platforms and languages to enhance IT infrastructure and systems.

Navigate and optimize processes within Linux environments, including compiling processes and managing HPC systems.

Collaborate with team members to design and implement IT solutions.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IT to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect organizational data and systems.

Assist in the evaluation and integration of cloud computing services where applicable.

Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for reference and training purposes.

Additional Responsibilities:

Weekly group meetings, note-taking, documentation of code and dashboards developments, conference and workshops participation.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in computer sciences, computer engineering, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, and others as needed.

  • Strong understanding of Linux systems, including compiling processes and navigating HPC environments.

  • Experience with HPC clusters with a preference with the SLURM scheduler.

  • Experience in developing digital dashboards and services.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing services preferred.

    Additional Information:

Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000
