Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the plans, schedules, and monitoring of the movement of material through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis. The Team develops specifications for new contract orders as well as forecasts and plans for labor requirements. They provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and may be asked to participate in higher level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team. They also monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

As a key member of the Supply Chain Team, your role will be to supporting the
planning department. You will be a key contributor in participating at the meeting of
Production handshakes, creation and printing of the jobs, creating splits according to
the requirement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
• Responsibility Includes the Following Tasks
• Independently develop and maintain schedules for product lines using MRP
system tools.
• Prepares data & graphs to support the global S&OP process and drives
continuous process improvements across demand planning & supply chain
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and project teams on scheduling customer
production and project builds.
• Analyze plant capacity for one or multiple plants and manage product conversions
and new product introductions independently.
• Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to
schedules to maintain production and provides input to management
Interfaces with purchasing, production, material handling, quality control,
marketing, technical manufacturing and customer service to review execution to production schedules, build plans and status of back order and other potential
schedule interruptions or rescheduling.
• Work to resolve labor or material shortage issues
• Works on problems of moderate scope in which analysis of data or situation
requires a review of identifiable factors related to planning, shortages or related
topics
• Implements and maintains use of visual planning boards in the plant
• Helps maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other functions within MRP systems
as directed.

• The collaborator is occasionally exposed to moving machinery, equipment
and parts
• 100% English (reading and writing)
• Medical Device Industry Experience preferred
Experience and education
• Minimum of 5 years of production knowledge.
• Bachelor of Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration or
Related.
