The Opportunity
We are hiring Demand Management Specialist who will be responsible for managing demand planning activities for the assigned countries within the SAGEA region (India, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa) and thereby coordinating cross-functional inputs from sales and marketing and other sources to ensure optimized service levels and efficient inventory management.
This position is based at Riyadh; reporting to the Head of Supply Chain SAGEA.
Task & Responsibilities:
Supports the creation of a robust net requirement plan on monthly level and all sales channels by challenging in-market sales forecast and aligning it with supply capabilities.
Drives the net requirements planning by channel.
Measures key performance indicators to track and evaluate the demand planning process.
Ensures adherence to regional and global process standards in day to day work.
Ensure SKU launch, change implementation and discontinuation in line and close collaboration with the IMETA Product Lifecycle Manager.
Leads and drives S&OP process and adheres to company standards.
Builds network with internal stakeholders.
Works in close collaboration with Supply Planning team and country ensuring appropriate replenishment plans and inventory management for the market.
Facilitate financial reconciliation.
Proactively work on data coherence and accuracy between systems.
Support projects/initiatives on product localization with 3PM team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Master’s degree will be a plus
Certificates (preferred): APICS
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within Supply Chain or Commercial functions
Knowledge of commercial activities and processes
Proven capability in Demand Planning management
Internal and external stakeholder relationship management
Broad understanding of the end-to-end supply chain on Global or regional level
Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably in the life-science industry
Basic understanding of financial aspects (P&L)
Excellent analytical capabilities to interpret information and reports
Business fluent in Arabic & English in its oral and written form
Must be a Saudi National
Technical skills:
Relevant working knowledge and proficiency in:
• SAP
• GRP and BIX@
• MS Excel
• analytics and mass data processing
