Emerson Collections Associate in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

The CFS Collections Associate will perform the Collections activity for all assigned accounts. Ensure personal and departmental targets are achieved for Kuwait. To follow company Emerson policies and procedures as well as the terms of the Emerson/Almeer Model.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collections Target:

  • -Collection of monthly set target by CFS Management team

  • -Follow up the direct customers for payments by email, telephone and personal visits.

  • -Almeer (local business partner in Kuwait) invoices to be raised and submitted to the customer along with supporting documents

  • -Follow up with Almeer on the payments collected to be transferred to Emerson

  • -Maintain Almeer invoice register and prepare ‘AR List vs Almeer book’ by month and work with BUs to reduce the age of these items listed

  • -Proactive and regular customer site visits for collections follow up and maintaining customer relationships as advised by the Senior Customer Financial Services (CFS) Manager.

  • Collection of amounts due to Emerson on assigned accounts receivable ledgers as identified by individual, regional and company targets.

  • Follow the Almeer model for invoicing and collections.

  • LC & CAD Submissions (for Kuwait customers)

    • Prepare cover letter and verification of the documents
    • Ensure clean documents are submitted to the bank
    • Co-ordinate with the relevant CFS team leading LC orders and submissions
  • Work closely with the Office Administrator and cover for each other during absences

  • Highlight any concerns, potential bad debts, or instances where transactions cannot be immediately collected when charged by Emerson to Almeer as per the Business Model agreement. These need to be advised promptly to the Senior Customer Financial Services (CFS) Manager and Regional Finance Director

  • Exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion in handling process and administrative duties, including making decisions that will significantly impact internal/external customers.

  • High level of cross-functional engagement to drive timely resolution of disputes.

  • Drive adherence and support of company policies and procedures, working with honesty and integrity.

  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Senior Customer Financial Services (CFS) Manager.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field

  • Five years of related credit and collections experience

  • Two years’ experience in Oil & Gas is desirable.
