Job Title:Voice Architect

Job Type:Full-Time Location: Ohio

Job Summary:One of our large healthcare clients is looking for a strong Voice Architect to join their team. The Voice Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice communication systems within the organization. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the voice systems are integrated seamlessly with the overall enterprise network architecture, meeting the business's needs and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Architecture:

  2. Lead the development of solution architectures for voice systems.

  3. Ensure the use of appropriate tools and methods in architecture development.

  4. Collaborate with the Enterprise Network Architect to align voice systems with the overall network architecture.

  5. Implementation and Maintenance:

  6. Oversee the installation, upgrading, and operation of IT voice components.

  7. Monitor the performance of voice systems and ensure they meet agreed service levels.

  8. Schedule and supervise maintenance and installation work for voice systems.

  9. Technical Expertise:

  10. Maintain expert-level knowledge in voice technologies.

  11. Provide definitive and expert advice on voice technologies.

  12. Consolidate expertise from multiple sources to provide coherent advice.

  13. Security and Compliance:

  14. Ensure that technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices are applied correctly.

  15. Work with the Enterprise Network Architect to assure the cyber-security needs of the business.

  16. Innovation and Market Scanning:

  17. Proactively scan the market for emerging voice technologies.

  18. Bring in new technologies that can provide competitive advantages for the organization.

  19. Documentation and Reporting:

  20. Create and maintain voice plans for areas of responsibility.

  21. Provide status and other reports to specialists, users, and managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in voice technology and network architecture.
  • Strong understanding of cyber-security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with specific voice technologies (e.g., VoIP, SIP, PBX systems).
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., Cisco, Avaya).
