Role Objective Manages all aspects of leading a project through the New Product Development (NPD) Process by planning and overseeing execution of project activities from scoping and early definition through development, validation, inventory build and product launch Responsible for timely achievement of milestones and creation of strong linkages across GOJO including R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory and other workgroups Essential Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for collaboration across functional teams involved in project delivery, and completion of tasks according to stage-gate process With little supervision, manages a large number of projects and/or projects of significant complexity Keeps stakeholders including Sponsor, GMs and BSTs (business segment teams) informed of progress Builds a high-performing project team, manages conflict and empowers team members to solve problems Brings project recommendations, decisions and unresolved issues to Sponsor and/or stage-gate in real-time Facilitates the definition of project goals, tasks, and resource requirements Maintains project timeline and holds team accountable to timely achievement of milestones and deliverables Facilitates risk identification and prioritization across project scope and develops/manages plan to mitigate Identifies opportunities for process improvements, portfolio optimization or cost savings within project scope Oversees the development of the project's Stage-gate review deliverables; i.e. NPD Summary, timelines, RACI, presentations, etc. and ensures they are delivered on time and accurately Completes After Action Review, lessons learned, and post-launch reviews Education and Experience BA/BS Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or related field preferred Minimum five (5) years of professional business experience, preferably within product or program management in a new product development environment Knowledge and demonstrated application of project management tools and techniques Proven experience in risk management and change management Intermediate MS Office skills CAPM or PMP certification a plus Supervision/Coordination May have supervisory responsibility of contractors or interns May assist with coaching and input on performance of associate levels Coordinates and manages cross-functional project teams to deliver results Travel Requirements Overnight Travel - sporadic - required.
