This is a work from home position. The ability to work from home could change per business needs. Applicant must reside in Ohio at the time of start. Summary: The Talent Management Consultation, Diversity and Inclusion is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture where diversity is celebrated and valued. This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to promote workforce diversity and inclusion, providing training and support to employees and management, and collaborating with various departments to ensure diversity initiatives align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: Develop and implement diversity and inclusion workforce initiatives and programs to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace environment. Utilizes data and benchmarking to conduct assessments and analyses to identify areas for improvement in workforce diversity and inclusion practices. Provide guidance and support to management, employees, and HR on diversity-related matters, including recruitment, retention, career development, employee relations and total rewards. Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure recruitment, and performance management are inclusive and bias-free. Serve as a resource and point of contact for employees seeking guidance on diversity and inclusion concerns. Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to diversity and inclusion. Identifies opportunities, makes recommendations and drives workforce diversity process improvements. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives and make recommendations for improvement. Partner with DEI team, employee resource groups and affinity networks to support their workforce activities and initiatives. Represent the organization externally by participating in industry events and forums related to diversity and inclusion. Other information: Technical Experience 1. Experience working with all levels within an organization required. 2. Healthcare experience is preferred. 3. Experience in project management is preferred. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, sociology, or a related field, or 8 years of Diversity and Inclusion experience required. Proven experience in diversity and inclusion, with at least 5 years in a similar role. Certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and HR Strategic Planning required or obtained within two years of employment. Strong understanding of diversity issues, including race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, and cultural differences. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to diversity and inclusion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to inform decision-making. Experience facilitating training sessions and workshops on diversity and inclusion topics. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
