Civil Engineer (Transportation) - (Hybrid) Akron, OH - JOB 24-00302 Salary Range: $75K - $115K Permanent Position with Benefits. A growing full service civil & environmental engineering consulting firm is seeking to hire a Transportation Technical Lead to plan and coordinate projects, serve as a senior technical advisor on projects of particular complexity, assist the project manager, and serve as the technical lead and main point of contact with clients, as needed. Projects may include trails, roadways, sidewalks, green and complete streets, and active transportation projects for ODOT, LPA, and Non-LPA clients throughout the state of Ohio. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Planning, or a related field • 8+ years of experience • Experience in trail and/or multi-modal transportation, or the motivation to learn this specialty, is required • Understanding of plan production, design grade, task management, schedule, and budget management • Willingness to train, mentor, and lead individuals within the department • PE, PLA/RLA, AICP, or other relevant certifications are preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and other industry-based software • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills • Advanced analytical and creative thinking skills • Advanced leadership and organizational skills within a team environment • Advanced presentation skills and comfort working with clients Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
