Global Harvest Industrial Maintenance Technician Level 3 in Akron, Colorado
POSITION: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN LEVEL 3
General Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree +3-5 year experience; Associates Degree +5-7 years experience or 7-10 years of related experience. Knowledge of PLC s, VFD s and industrial wiring. Must be able to navigate a PC, laptop, and tablet with basic Windows/iOS software. Good communication skills, both written and verbal; Spanish speaking/writing a plus. Must be able to lift 50lbs. on a consistent basis. General knowledge of janitorial, housekeeping, and maintenance. Advanced welding skills and knowledge. Basic first aid knowledge. Comfortable working on equipment at heights, in excess of 50 , outside via PIT lifts or ladder/catwalks. Considerable experience working with hand/power tools and other basic shop equipment. Comfortable using measurement devices; tape measure, calipers, micrometers, RPM gauges, laser alignment. Must be a self-starter and work with minimum supervision. Lean Manufacturing experience a plus. Job Specific Skill Requirements:
Hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems including air compressors. Meggers, voltmeter and multi-meters for testing. Show a defined trouble shooting logic when diagnosing equipment problems. Bearing analysis and installation. Lubrication. Gearboxes. Preventive maintenance (PM). Rigging and rigging equipment. Packaging machines. Robotics and automation. Motor controls. Engineering software. Engineering Drawings. Training/Certifications/Licenses

WAGE:$30 - $40/hr.
DAYS AND HOURS: Full time position. 5am - 3:30pm some Saturdays and on-call hours are Required.
DUTIES: The primary tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Repairing and maintaining production equipment throughout the facility. Daily service and maintenance of facility. Daily service and maintenance of production equipment. Conducting tests and inspections for building systems and equipment. Responding to production trouble calls. Advanced troubleshooting of any down equipment. Understanding and supporting GHF BRC objectives and policies. Keeping the building secure. Documenting test results of building systems and equipment. Completing assigned preventative/predictive maintenance tasks. Participating on the emergency response team. Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. Fabricating small jobs for facility. Basic janitorial tasks. Participate in on-call rotation to after hours or weekend issues.
