Riverwood Healthcare Center Endoscopy Technician in Aitkin, Minnesota
About the Position:
Facilitates gastrointestinal diagnostic procedures by preparing and providing the required supplies and equipment. Assists physicians and Registered Nurses during the endoscopy procedures.
Functions well with other team members and shows initiative and judgment in anticipating the needs of the team. In downtime, assists department with picking cases, room turnover and supporting sterile processing. Other duties may be assigned.
What we are looking for:
High school diploma.
Knowledge of medical terminology
1–2 years’ experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant and/or LPN.
Endoscopy experience preferred.
American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
