We are looking for a Aluminum Welder for a position located in Airdrie, Alberta. This job opportunity will provide full time hours, long term benefits with stability and longevity for the right candidate.
Job Title: Journeyman Welder
Job Description
As new projects come in, you will be responsible for welding a variety of different components. Primarily, you will work on the aluminum welding side of the operation, focusing on high-quality bench-welded components using wire feed and TIG. You will read blueprints and fabricate objects repeatedly in runs of 5-20 pieces. You may likewise impact the steel side of the facility, welding items such as pipe shoes, steel stairs/landings, I-beams/supports, and attachments. You will also work on smaller components ranging from 10 to 100 pieces using regular mild steel and aluminum with TIG.
Must Have Skills
Journeyman welder (2nd or 3rd year apprentice acceptable)
Aluminum, and stainless steel experience
TIG
Wire feed
Reading blueprints
Lifting 50 lbs.
Additional Skills
CWB - Flux core Flat & Horizontal
Reading Manufacturing Blueprints
Attention to detail
Sit down counterbalance exp (can cert on site)
Aluminum welding
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility as needed.
Dress code is casual with required PPE.
The company handles projects for municipality industries, government projects, and larger manufacturers, with a focus on quality assurance and client trust.
