Job Overview
We are looking for a talented & detail-oriented Mechanical Design Process Engineer
A Day In The Life
Design and perform manufacturing engineering of high voltage insulators.
Design and perform application assessment of high voltage insulators as well as support their manufacture including material processing and equipment optimization.
Manage the capital for large projects to support business growth, specifically all aspects of silicone press molding for high voltage insulators.
Improve the design and manufacture of insulators. Perform ‘E-field’ modeling, mold flow simulation, and silicone processing.
This is a hybrid position; may work from home up to 2 days per week

What will help you thrive in this role?
Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer in the power utility industry or a related role
At least 2 years of experience with DFEMA and PFEMA;
At least 2 years of experience with high voltage insulator design;
At least 1 year of experience with PLSCADD;
At least 1 year of experience supporting E-field modeling;
At least 1 year of experience supporting mold flow software;
At least 1 year of experience supporting silicone process engineering;
At least 1 year of experience in Major Capital project deployment (AFE, install, runoff, approvals); and
At least 1 year of experience in standard Committee involvement.
