With diverse profiles and upcoming new plant expansion project, there would be many new opportunities coming with finance team as well.

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst position would have growth opportunity to take on the additional responsibility in roles of FP&A for Operation Finance, Commercial Finance & Finance Controller as well.

Responsibilities

The position would be responsible for

  • Conducting MIS, Variances and Inventory Analysis,

  • Closing monthly/ quarterly books like accrual, warranty & inventory accounting etc.

  • Conducting Physical inventory activities and loading of variance into Oracle.

  • Manage standard costing process and activities.

  • Advise on Costed BOM, Intercompany Transfer Prices and Assessable Prices.

  • Perform PPV analysis and monitor productivity/inflation in commodities.

  • Scrutinize GL and control spend analysis.

  • Ensure statutory compliance.

  • Reconcile balance sheet GL accounts.

  • Co-ordination with business cross function teams on productivity projects.

  • Interact with government authorities and providing required data.

  • Manage budgeting and forecast cycle for spend, inventory and other variance.

  • Quarterly audit of listed entity with statutory auditors for areas responsible and dealing with Internal Auditors.

Key Competencies & Qualification

  • Should be qualified Cost Accountant/ Chartered Accountant.

  • Should have working experience in Oracle/ SAP.

  • Overall 7-8 years’ working experience in any Manufacturing, Engineering, Pharma, Auto, Heavy Industry

  • 2 years’ Experience in Operation finance and management reporting.

Desired skills

  • Competent with accounting & MIS work

  • Experience on Hyperion Financial Management would be an advantage.

  • Understanding accounting standards, standard costing methodology and cost audit process.

  • Strong creative problem-solving mind-set.

  • Clear grasp of verbal and written English.

  • Proactive, self-motivating with ability to develop own priorities

  • Conversant with Microsoft tools – Word; Excel; PPT
