A Typical Day
The Sr Network Architect oversees the development and day-to-day operations of the company’s voice and data networks.
The Sr Network Architect will :
Support the day-to-day operations of company's rapidly growing network and voice infrastructure (including but not limited to LAN, WAN, VPN’s, Qos and WAN Optimization, Firewalls, VoIP)
Oversee and execute planned network maintenance work, minimizing operational impact and ensuring continued smooth operation of the data and voice network infrastructure
Design, implement and maintain all our routing infrastructure including BGP, OSPF, IPSec Tunnels, Multicast, On-Shore, Off-Shore and Near-Shore and in the cloud
Ensure all networking equipment firmware is updated, patched and documented accordingly
Strong ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues such as latency, packet loss, DNS, DHCP and other communications issues
Be the technical lead on implementing new networking solutions such as data center relocation
Ensure the day-to-day operations of our Palo Alto firewalls making sure access is granted or denied based upon companies security requirements
Partner with DevOps on designing and deploying multi-cloud strategy
Work with InfoSec on implementing a Zero Trust solution
Collaborate with other engineers on automating tasks and moving towards Infrastructure as Code
Design and implement audio/video conference solutions
Oncall for after hour troubleshooting
Collaborate with other team members and groups to identify and develop scalable network designs, solutions and policy recommendations
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in IT with direct oversight over core networking infrastructure in highly-availability environments
Proven troubleshooter and problem solver, demonstrates sound judgment and decision making, demonstrated ability to execute effectively and deliver results, works well in fast paced, high energy environment
Intimate familiarity with switching, routing, and wireless protocols required. Experience with Security and authentication systems: VPNs, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos is preferred. Telephony experience in a production call center & enterprise environments is preferred
Juniper platform experience preferred. Network certifications CCNP/CCIE/JNCIS/JNCIE (or equivalent training/experience) are preferred but not required
Experience working with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama implementation
VPNs, RADIUS, LDAP, Kerberos, DANTE knowledge preferred.
Experience troubleshooting TCP and UDP communications utilizing wireshark and other tools
Telephony experience in a production call center & enterprise environments is preferred
Understanding in Automation (Python, Ansible, YAML, API, CHEF)
In-depth knowledge of routing protocols and security protocols, i.e. BGP, OSPF, Multicast, DNS, VPNs, MACSec, IPSec
Experience deploying and working with enterprise wireless solutions, preferably Meraki
Knowledge of AWS services and other cloud providers

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary
$110,000 - $170,000
