A Typical Day

The Senior Applications Systems Analyst

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be a key contributor to enhancing and maintaining our Default Servicing applications. You will focus on automating Default Reporting and Fees, leveraging your expertise in business rule design and SQL to optimize processes and ensure accuracy and efficiency. As the Senior Applications Systems Analyst , your responsibilities will include system administration and, potentially, primary system liaison to clients.

The Senior Applications Systems Analyst will:

  • Business Rule Design: Analyze business needs and translate them into actionable rules within our Business Rule Engine (BRMS).

  • SQL Development: Create SQL queries to deliver impact analysis, design tasks, data extraction, and production support.

  • Automation Enhancement: Collaborate with developers to enhance automation for Default Reporting and Fees, identifying process improvements.

  • Requirements Vetting: Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements to ensure clarity and feasibility for the developers.

  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Support QA and UAT testing, including planning, execution, and data conditioning.

  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across Servicing and other departments to ensure successful technology delivery.

  • Agile Participation: Actively engage in Agile routines and manage individual deliverables within sprint timelines.

  • Default Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely servicer delinquency reports to external investors and guarantors.

  • Fees: Enhance and maintain automation to generate assessment transactions and ensure seamless integration across the posting process.

  • Team Success: Facilitate Agile team routines and workflows, including release readiness and deployment support.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience: 5+ years as a Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in financial services.

  • Expertise: Proven experience designing and implementing rules within a rules engine.

  • SQL Proficiency: Strong skills in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting using SQL.

  • Testing: Experience in planning and supporting manual QA and UAT testing.

  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
