Joni and Friends Logistics Assistant in Agoura Hills, California
Duties
Under the supervision of the Manager, Logistics and Facilities support the overall objectives of Joni and Friends’ Logistics department. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Product picking, packing, and labeling of orders
Counting, shrink wrapping, folding, copying, and collating manual projects
General organization and cleanliness of the mailroom and warehouse
Assist with daily distribution of incoming office mail
Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs
Qualifications
Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
Able to lift 70 pounds and perform repetitive manual tasks such as lifting, bending, pulling, stacking, loading, and standing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
An active listener and solution provider who possesses strong team building skills
Works well in a team environment, treating coworkers with professionalism and respect
Ability to organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadline requirements
Strong general computer skills are necessary along with a competent, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and the Internet
Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable
This is a full-time, temporary position, lasting approximately three to six months. Compensation is $19.00 - 20.00 per hour. This is not a hybrid position, so you must be available to work in the Agoura Hills office Monday through Friday.

- Lead Like Jesus is a course of study provided to all employees and is based on the book written by Ken Blanchard and Phil Hodges of the same name. The Lead Like Jesus course is the model which governs our ministry culture and contributes significantly to Joni and Friends maintaining its certification as a “Best Christian Workplace” according to surveys by the Best Christian Workplace Institute (BCWI).
