PennyMac IT Senior Project Manager in Agoura Hills, California

A Typical Day

The IT Senior Project Manager will facilitate open source project teams building applications that address business needs. As the Project Manager , you will be responsible for the coding, design, testing and support of the company’s next-generation mortgage origination tools.

The IT Senior Project Manager will :

  • Organize the development work queue, schedule releases and manage risks associated with projects

  • Set customer expectations and provide feedback

  • Conduct planning sessions with customers and ability to specify road map for projects

  • Provide reports on projects status and project metrics

  • Manage the software development life cycle (SDLC) from start to finish

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture, and values

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of experience running software development projects within complex and complex stakeholder landscapes

  • Relationship management experience; creating, maintaining and/or enhancing customer relationships that have yielded further business opportunity

  • Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practice

  • Experience explaining the costs and benefits of projects

  • Exposure to a variety of Project Management and/or Program Management methodologies

    Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

  • Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

  • Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

    Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

Salary

$90,000 - $150,000
