The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining CNC programs for machining parts and tools. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, setting up CNC machines, and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of machining processes, materials, and CNC programming languages.

salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

  • rogram Development:

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate CNC programs.

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure programs meet project requirements.

  • Machine Setup and Operation:

  • Set up CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and routers, for production runs.

  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.

  • Conduct trial runs and adjust programs as necessary to achieve desired results.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Perform regular inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, tooling, and programming.

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent production output.
