[**[Software Developer (Addison, TX) - Full Time [[Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Responsible of implementing failover capabilities between the primary and secondary datacenter to a set of micro services implemented with Spring, Hibernate and having different interfaces like Oracle and MSSQL Databases, TIBCO EMS, Web services SOA/REST/SOAP, and ftp communication with third parties. Collect information with client stakeholders to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems. Research with users to identify problems, input and output requirements and formats for reports. Direct the writing of detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Coordinate the preparation of detailed flow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs, to develop new systems or to correct troubleshooting. Conduct studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs. Document Best Practices with the company managers. Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise. Oversee systems after implementation, making upgrades and correcting errors as necessary.
