This position is responsible for ensuring that orders are packaged to protect products, coordinate freight using customer directed carriers, making timely shipments, and ensuring all freight company, customer and company required documentation is accurate. In addition, this position is responsible for receiving and safely storing purchased and customer supplied materials/components and ensuring all required documentation is accurate.

salary: $41,600 - $45,760 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Basic Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word experience is a plus

 Prior ERP or MRP systems experience is a plus; will provide training on our system

 Must be proficient with using a tape measure to within 1/16”.

 Ability to use basic measuring and inspection tools such as tape measures, steel-rules, calipers,

attribute gauges, gauge blocks and pins, go/no go type gauges, etc.

 Will provide advanced training on use of other measuring tools, extrusion process and quality

requirements.

 Ability to use common hand tools and to setup and operate various common powered tools and

production equipment.

 Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

 Ability to read and comprehend production documents and simple mechanical drawings is a plus.

Training will be provided.

 Familiarity with the company's quality system and applicable procedures, and the company's work

and safety rules and procedures, with training.

 Ability to initiate and maintain various production reports and records, with training.

 Ability to interact positively customers, suppliers, delivery personnel, with supervisory personnel

and coworkers.

 Ability to operate a lift-truck (forklift) (optional with appropriate training).
