Job Description:

Experienced Program Director to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of a start-up data centre/data mining program.

Responsible for providing strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success.

Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.

Must have a business mindset and be able to see the 'big picture' in a variety of settings.

Create, lead and motivate teams to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing management team.

Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.

Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and financial success.

Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics.

Build trusted and sustainable relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact.

Possess and maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of the markets and industry of the Program.

Proven experience in similar roles for data centre/data mining programs.

Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.

Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.

In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.

An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.

Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills .

Excellent communication and public speaking skills.

MSc/MA in business administration or relevant field.

25 plus years overall experience.

Minimum of 10 years experience in the Data Mining/Data Centre industry.

The ability to identify and attract top talent to the program with the assistance of the recruitment team and the regional leadership team.

Widely viewed as a strong developer of others.

The ability to persevere in the face of challenge's and exhibit steadfast resolve and relentless commitment to higher standards, which commands respect from followers.

A leader that is self-reflective and aware of their own limitations, leads by example and drives the team's `performance with an attitude of continuous improvement by being open to feedback and self-improvement

Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others.

Demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.

An Ability to inspire trust and followership through compelling influence, powerful charisma, passion in their beliefs and active drive.

A relationship savvy professional with the interpersonal skills to successfully manage conflict and interact effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.

Encourages others to take the spotlight and visibly celebrates and supports the success of the team

Creates a sense of purpose/meaning for the team that generates followership beyond their own personality and engages others to the greater purpose of the program as a whole.

The Program Director must be client focused and should advocate and communicate a positive image of Parsons, both internally and externally.

They will take full accountability for decisions made and conduct oneself in respectful and ethical manner in representing Parsons interests.
