JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Abington's Science and Engineering Division seeks an instructor in the area of Chemistry for a part-time appointment to begin Spring 2024. Job Duties The successful candidate will teach college level courses in either pre-general chemistry, general chemistry, or organic chemistry. Course work in general chemistry may involve laboratory instruction. The ideal candidate should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Requirements and Qualifications Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population. Candidates must have completed at least a Master's degree in either chemistry or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
