POSITION : General Laborer STATUS: Full-Time Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:
The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks to support the manufacturing process. This includes operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Load and unload materials and products.
Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
Assist with assembly and packaging of products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Assist with other tasks as needed to support the manufacturing process
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent is desired OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties (required)
2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
General knowledge and understanding of shop facility cleaning and maintenance.
Experience operating a forklift (desired)
Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to safely perform tasks in an efficient and productive manner.
Skilled at managing time independently.
Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.
Ability to lift and move heavy sheets of metal.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
