Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a Plant Human Resources Manager to join our team! In this role, you will lead the human resources function at the plant level. Your responsibilities will include managing employee relations, overseeing staffing processes, implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will collaborate with plant management to develop strategies for salary planning, benefits programs, and training initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment and effective delivery of services to employees. A Day in the Life... * Responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management for the development of a cost-effective HR program. * Responsible for analyzing and directing all functional related activities within the scope of Human Resources Management: staffing, compensation, employee relations, training, legal compliance and reporting. * Accountable for ensuring a balance of fairness and continuity as well as successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization. * Supports and supports food safety and quality program indicatives within the plant environment. * Plan, direct and coordinate annual salary planning process. * Conduct appropriate market research, rewrite job descriptions as necessary, plan and monitor Pay for Performance Program updating and revising as needed, develop merit pool (salary budget) and ensures that salary administration and local or plant specific benefits programs meet regulatory compliance and equity within the organization. * Where union exists, negotiate union contracts and monitor administration and compliance with collective bargaining contract; maintain effective and cordial business relationship; act as liaison between Ocean Spray and the Union. In union-free environments, maintain a union-free status in the workplace.
