Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s clinic patient-focused settings.

Job Summary
Provides professional nursing information to patients per telephone.
Triages phone calls from patients.
Transcribes information given to patients on a telephone to the medical record. Presents that information to provider.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer’s status.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
Work Schedule
- Day shift as needed; PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $20.75 - $29.25 per hour
